Affectionately known by most as 'Waterman', [SFH] Liquido, was first and foremost a helluva nice guy.

More than that though, when he played like he could, he was arguably one of the best all round players in the DoD world. A sound tactical knowledge of the game and his versatility ensured that, when he played, you could always count on him to cap the last flag or to pick off the last man.

For a while Liquido was our tactics man, the effort he put into this job was unbelievable. There was pages and pages of stuff. I think every possible scenario had been played through in his head and taken into account. It was a real bonus in the early days of this clan, to know we had people working in the background who could see the big picture, and realise it for the rest of us.

In recognition for service to [SFH], Liquido was awarded many accolades, including the [SFH] Army Commendation Medal, in recognition of his tactical skills, and the [SFH] Good Conduct Medal for his commitment to the Code of Conduct which we all uphold.

He will be sorely missed by all at [SFH], members like Liquido don't happen along every day, and friends even less frequently..

But, its goodbye from Waterman for now, he's off to experience other things, some DoD related, some not. But the man has an open invitation, to come back anytime he wants - thats just how highly he is thought of at [SFH].

Cheers Liquido, take care and remember, there will always be a spare seat at the [SFH] table...

...reserved for the Waterman.

[SFH] SHEP

SHEP, aka JayShep, was with the clan so long, I can't remember the clan existing before him, so I will just say that SHEP was a founding member of [SFH].

He came to us from clan BE, and ever since he joined, he was a driving force within [SFH]. Probably doing far more than any other single person to further the name of [SFH] and made the clan what it is today. Many of the members in the clan today were found by SHEP on one of his many recruitment drives, there were no lengths he wouldn't go to, to secure the services of a player that he considered good.

He also was our war arranger for a good while, in fact he was also so succesful in that department that some of us had to hire secretarys to keep track of all the matches he was bringing in! He had a tireless commitment to [SFH] and a belief that we could one day be, maybe not the best, but one of the most respected DoD clans.

He was definetly one of the best players, if not the best player, that this clan has even seen. His 'Homing 'nades' were legendary, as was his skill with the Thompson. For his services to the clan, SHEP was awarded amongst other accolades, the [SFH] Silver Star - an award at that time, never received by any other member.

Some of us had the pleasure of spending a weekend with SHEP in 2003, during the [SFH] Party weekend, and I assure you that he is one of the nicest guys you could meet, great sense of humour, and he can take a good drink!

SHEP had said farewell to [SFH], but we all, to a man, hoped that it wasn't goodbye. We all clung to the possibility that one day, the legendary SHEP would rejoin the clan, and once again enter the battle with his friends and comrades in [SFH]. That day did come, but alas, it was not to last. Circumstances occured and SHEP once again parted company with Scotlands Finest. A return to the clan in 2006, was short lived, and SHEP left again, to travel the DoD world. Maybe, one day, he will come full circle....

But for now, so long SHEP, you are missed mate, probaly more than you know..
