We were founded in April 2002 as a small group of friends that enjoyed playing Day of Defeat.

It was a crazy idea to start a clan but i felt the world needed us......it was hard work to start with as we only had 4 members - theButcher, mrfreeze,frenchie and fooman.

I recruited members via advertising on websites and forums...this got me a few more members then i got shepster involved....he did not even have a pc...i made him buy one :) Anyway, we borrowed servers and hijacked servers when we could until we got enough members that could help pay for one and have never looked back since.....

The website looked differant to what it did back then, as i done it all myself and i have now real knowledge of web building, but it done us proud and i still have it on disk :) Twister is the main man on our website today and you could not ask anymore from him.

Since we have been together i couldnt imagine being with a better bunch of guys/girls than who we have. most have been around since the begining and all have been part of {tBs} for a long time now. That just tells you what we have within the clan as we mature like a fine wine.....although some are out of date :)

The clan has changed quite alot over the years, by which i mean leaders and members. All of whom have brought their own ideas and qualities to the clan which have improved us and destroyed us. I handed the clan over to a valued member when i had more important issues to deal with. He was a great member, but in the end he was a bad leader and it split the clan in two and {tBs} was almost lost. I then got the members who wanted to be with {tBs} and we started again as though we were a new clan. Again, after a while, i had to find someone suitable to run the clan as i could not dedicate the time and effort that was needed so i handed over to shepster........he has been running it for 2 and a half years now. He has trimmed the clan down once and folded the clan a little while ago aswell.....but we are back on track and he knows what he is doing, he also has mine and the members trust and respect to back him all the way. we are now a well known and respected part of the community,and as i know the only clan to have received the Contribution Award Exceptional Contribution to Enemydown: March 2006.for this,we are proud.

As it turned out, he has been the rebirth of {tBs} and has taken us to a new life and leads the way today, now and forever

The -*[TnP]*- name, is one that has been around for a couple of years now, albeit they had a period where I guess, even they would say, they were disbanded. Back now, with a real committment to the DoD community. A lot of members, who are good players and a good laugh. Check out their server sometime, there is some great chat in there!
